Research Center for International Economics
The Research Center for International Economics (RCIE), established at the University of Washington in November 2001, aims at promoting research on international economics, encouraging interactions among economists in the world especially those in the Asia Pacific region, and helping the advancement of the frontiers of knowledge in this important field of economics.
The Center for Social Science Computation and Research
The Center for Social Science Computation and Research (CSSCR) is a computer resource center providing facilities and support for social science departments at the University of Washington. CSSCR facilities are restricted to use by students, faculty, and staff of the University of Washington. CSSCR’s labs are located on the first floor of Savery Hall.
Economic Policy Research Center
The Economic Policy Research Center (EPRC) is a forum for economic policy discussions vital to the Northwest. The purpose is to engage public and private sector stakeholders with University of Washington faculty to clarify and improve economic content of public policy.
Computing
Economics Computer Laboratory
The Department of Economics Computer Laboratory provides hardware, software and internet access for economic modeling, economic estimation, word processing, and other graduate student research functions. Access to the Computer Lab is restricted to Department of Economics graduate students.
Seminars
The quarterly seminar series consists of regular seminars given by departmental and visiting economists from around the world.

The University of Washington Libraries
The University of Washington Libraries are one of the premier academic library systems in the world. The Allen and Suzzallo Library is the central library for graduate student and faculty research. Graduate students in economics also make extensive use of the excellent Business Administration Library.
The Center for Social Science Computation and Research (CSSCR)
The Center for Social Science Computation and Research (CSSCR) is located in the same building as the Economics Department. It has three Labs of fast workstations linked directly to the Internet. In addition to having an extensive library of computer software and data, the CSSCR offers free consulting services to aid faculty and students with computing problems. CSSCR supports a variety of peripherals and printers.
