2014 Association for Public Economic Theory Annual Conference to be Hosted by UW Economics

apet_seattleThe Association for Public Economic Theory (APET) will hold its fifteenth international meeting at the University of Washington from July 11-July 13, 2014, hosted by the Department of Economics. Papers in all aspects of public economics and related areas will be presented. The organizing committee includes Professor Stephen Turnovsky, who holds the Ford and Louisa Van Voorhis Professorship at the University of Washington, and the APET team of international scholars. The local organizing committee includes UW Economics faculty Neil Bruce, Fahad Khalil, Jacques Lawarrée, Oksana Leukhina, Xu Tan, and Quan Wen. Plenary speakers for the conference are:
  • Ted Bergstrom, University of California, Santa Barbara
  • Robert E. Lucas, Jr., University of Chicago
  • Yves Zenou, University of Stockholm
The Association for Public Economic Theory (APET) is dedicated to the promotion of theoretical research in all areas of public finance and to the facilitation of communication amongst economists working in these areas.
